From dealer search to confident decision.
How ShareGuard turns five intelligence sources into an evidence-backed decision, then keeps watching after funding.
Search. Analyse. Apply Policy. Decide. Monitor.
The same five stages for brokers and lenders. Policy and permissions change what each team sees.
- 01Search
Find a UK dealer by name or company number.
- 02Analyse
Combine company, FCA, financial, online and outcome signals.
- 03Apply Policy
Compare evidence against broker or lender criteria.
- 04Decide
Record Proceed, Review or Pause with the reasons.
- 05Monitor
Watch recorded changes and keep the decision trail.
Five intelligence sources. One trusted record.
Open a source for technical detail and data limitations. Coverage is permission- and availability-dependent.
Companies HouseCompany details, ownership, officers and filings.
- Used where provider access is configured
- Collection may be held operationally
- Identity is matched to the registered company number
FCA RegisterAuthorisation, permissions and regulatory status.
- Referenced where access allows
- Status is as recorded at retrieval, not a live guarantee
- Permission changes can be flagged on watched dealers
Financial dataFinancial health, credit risk and stability indicators.
- Requires an available, permitted financial provider
- Not enabled in every deployment
- No financial rating is claimed as active
Online presenceWebsite, reviews, news and reputational signals.
- Summarised as separate source-labelled items
- Coverage varies by dealer
- Collection may be paused
Broker outcomesHistoric applications, complaints and unwinds.
- Supplied by participating organisations
- Figures only reflect what has been provided
- Linked to Aftersales CRM cases where recorded
Plus your own decision layer
Your policy, your reviewer and your recorded reasons sit on top of every source, forming the sixth layer.
What the ShareGuard Rating does, and does not, do.
A single evidence-led indicator with a confidence level, so reviewers can see both the signal and how much evidence sits behind it.
- Summarises recorded checks under the assessment policy saved for that dealer
- Keeps source availability and unknown checks visible
- Financial information and broker outcomes remain distinct supporting evidence
- An aid to review, never a creditworthiness verdict or automatic lending decision
LimitationsWhy a rating may be lower-confidence or incomplete.
Missing information is not a passed check, and unavailable financial data is not proof of low credit risk. Assessment rules are recorded for the dealer; policy changes do not rewrite existing published assessment history. There is no direct Owner override of a saved rating.
Proceed, Review or Pause.
Your team records the outcome and the reason. ShareGuard keeps it with the evidence.
Proceed
Evidence fits policy and no critical alerts are recorded. The decision and its evidence are kept for later review.
Review
Something needs a closer look: a policy exception, low confidence or a recent recorded change. Assign and note it.
Pause
Hold new business while an issue is investigated. Watch the dealer so recorded changes are surfaced.
Want to see a real decision journey with your own policy?
Funding is not the last check.
Watched dealers are re-checked as sources refresh. Recorded changes become alerts for review.
Watchlists
Monitor key dealers and review recorded risk signals in one list.
Recorded-change alerts
Permission, filing, complaint and policy changes flagged for attention.
Portfolio MI
Recorded signals summarised across the dealers you work with.
Vehicle risk (planned)
A planned view of vehicle types and stock risk, dependent on data.
Refresh frequency depends on source configuration. Alerts are aids to review and may not catch every change; this is not real-time or continuous coverage.

Fits around your existing process.
Integration options depend on permissions and availability, and are confirmed during onboarding.
Data-source connectionsCompanies House, FCA register, financial and online providers, where access is permitted.
Each source is enabled per deployment once provider access and terms allow. Collection may be held operationally; no provider is presented as active by default.
Broker CRM connectionBring complaint references from your existing CRM into the Aftersales workspace.
Imports stay held until customer-data handling is approved for your organisation and a first delivery is verified. Availability is confirmed during onboarding.
Evidence exportsTake recorded dealer evidence and decision history into your own files and reviews.
Exports reflect what has been recorded in the application. They support, but do not replace, your own record-keeping obligations.
